Crossing  Across Atlantic Ocean and Arabian Sea.

Members of the Sree Narayana World Council, Sree Narayana Mission Washington DC, Officials of FOKANA, Indian Ambassador Lalit Mansingh and Embassy staff gathered in front of  Mahadma Gandhi Memorial in Washington DC to commemorate the meeting of Gandhi and Guru  in Sivagiri, Kerala, India.   

During the Sree Narayana Dharma Flag handing over ceremony Ambassador Lalit  Mansingh proclaims March 12 as Gandhi-Guru Day to commemorate the meeting of two visionaries who in their own ways opposed the caste system in India and elsewhere.

Hon. Ambassador Lalith Mansingh handing over World Council flag to  P.  Indukumar to be

 hosted in the Global Convention venue in Gokulam Park Inn, Cochin, India.

The flag was then handed over to B  Aravindakshan, Secretary, Sree Narayana World Council

 to start the journey to India.

More than 500 people including Students and Bands from University College, Womens College,  officials of SNDP Yogan and Government of Kerala were present to receive the flag and delegates from the United States.

The Flag is honored at Chempazhanthy,  the birth place & home of Sree Narayana Guru. 

The flag is honored at Aruvipuram, the birthplace of SNDP Yogam and also  where the 1st Siva Temple was initiated by Narayana Guru. 

After performing pooja  Swami Vidhyananda handing over flag to B  Aravindakshan to continue the journey to Sivagiri Mutt, Varkala. 

After one days pooja at Sivagiri  the Sree Narayana Dharma flag was handed over to 

B Aravindakshan by Brahmasri Prakasananda, President of  Sivagiri Mutt to continue its 

procession to the Convention nagar in Gokulam Park Inn, Cochin.

Sand from Guru Samadhi:  To represent the millions of devotees who  walked  on while 

paying homage to Guru, sand was collected from the yard to spread in the convention 

ground in Cochin.  Brahmasree Prakasanantha, President of Sivagiri Mutt 

handing over sand to B Aravindakshan, Secretary, Sree Narayana World Council.

Swami Muniprasad performed pooja for the  flag and honored it as it

represents Gurus presents and vision
